Kiev has agreed in principle to talks with Moscow in Belarus, Sputnik France reported
Ukraine has agreed to hold talks in the Gomel region of Belarus, Russian presidential adviser Vladimir Medinsky said on 27 February.The Russian delegation is there.
The official added that Russian representatives are ready to negotiate at any time.
« Every hour is a life saved for us, » Medinsky said.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that a telephone conversation between the Belarusian and Ukrainian heads of state, Alexander Lukashenko and Volodymyr Zelensky, preceded the decision.
